Barry Z. Posner is Accolti Endowed Professor of Leadership at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University.

He has worked with James M. Kouzes for more than 30 years, studying leaders, researching leadership, conducting leadership development seminars, and serving as leaders themselves in various capacities.
