Nick is the co-founder and chief operations officer and at FIXR - the online events platform and marketplace for university students - leading the company’s day-to-day operations and corporate strategy, as well as directing investor relations and fundraising.
Prior to founding FIXR, Nick spent five years in finance and banking, at the advisory firm West Hill Corporate Finance and at Matrix Corporate Capital, where he met fellow FIXR co-founders Edmund Glover and Hugh Hudleston.
Before entering the world of finance, Nick spent four years as a corporate lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright. He has advised on a variety of transactions in the TMT sector, as well as on seed and development capital fundraisings.
Nick is driven by a desire to understand the characteristics of Generation Z, in particular their attitudes to events, brands, and their own futures. He also has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and the London technology startup scene.
Away from work, Nick is a keen DJ, and has set up, managed, and played at club nights in Bristol, Nottingham, and London.
A qualified solicitor, Nick graduated from the University of Bristol in 2001 with a degree in law and subsequently completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 2002.
