Small businesses looking for funding have been given a boost with a new service connecting them to sources of finance and advice.

Gateway2Enterprise was launched by Chester-based serial entrepreneur Karen Gould. The online service will help people start and grow a business with guides and recommendations for trusted services for SMEs.

Ms Gould said: “With over 20 years’ experience helping businesses to start up, I decided it was time to create a revolutionary new platform where SMEs can land, search and easily find all the business support services they need to grow.

“The top five hurdles for SMEs looking to grow are finding the right staff, sourcing appropriate staff training that mirror the needs of the business, finance and funding, accessing great business support and finding professional services that you can trust.

“Gateway2Enterprise has been set up to address these issues and help businesses develop at whatever stage they are at.”
