According to a report on TechCrunch, Fixya chief executive Yaniv Bensadon thinks it’s a good way to funnel more traffic from consumers to service providers.

“We created this program as more of a funnel. So here’s a way for a small business to generate traffic for themselves and get traction in their local areas,” TechCrunch reported him saying.

Last year, Fixya launched Fixboard, a service giving brand owners information about how many customers report problems with specific products as well as details of what the glitches are.

According to Mr Brensadon, Fixya has been profitable since 2009 and has raised $8 million in venture capital finance.
