If you want to have a successful time in the world of business, you need to be able to make a lot of money. You know this. We all know this. The journey is fun and you’re getting to run a company that you love, but the end goal is to turn your work into something that will produce heaps of cash.

The way that’s done is by enticing customers or clients into your world and keeping them there. The money doesn’t just end up in your pocket out of nowhere – it comes from others that want what you’re offering.

In order to attract people to your product, you need to make them aware of what you’re about. You need them to take a look at what you’re doing and immediately become fixated with it. The best of doing it is by marketing fantastically.

Luring in customers or clients with an enticing aroma of opportunity means you’ll have a better chance of selling whatever it is you have.

On the other hand: if your business has already successfully attacked a gap in the market and produced something that people desperately want or need, then that’s a good start.

But sooner or later that original idea may start to run a little stale due to competitors mimicking you or the novelty wearing off slightly. The way you’d then keep eyes fixed firmly on you is by building that relationship with the people.

People like to be impressed straight away – first impressions are super important. They especially need to be convinced about something when it’s to do with money that they may or may not part with! If they aren’t happy with what they see, they may walk away immediately or scroll past within seconds.

A good marketing tactic is one that brings undivided attention to people. Those first few seconds and minutes are good building blocks to begin with.

Over the years, companies have come up with loads of different and wacky ways to grab the attention of potential customers. As long as it’s not illegal or offensive, you have the floor to be as expressive as you’d like. Let’s go through some marketing ploys that you could try if you ever want to get your business’ name out there.

Social Media Presence

We’ll start off with something that you might already personally have. If you don’t, then good for you – in a world where we’re dominated by tech and social media, a human being not glued to their smartphone is a breath of fresh air.

If you have a business or a solo project, however, you’ll probably need to have a social media account or two backing up your work. As we said, billions of people are using one of the platforms every single day, so it’s smart to capitalize on this particular thing, right?

Grabbing people’s attention on social media by just interacting with them is one thing, but there’s an endless amount of creativity that you could show, too. Making a tweet or posting a thought-provoking picture are just a couple of ways companies instil their name inside heads.

Create A Viral Video?

People like to watch interesting things - whether they’re positive or negative. It’s just natural curiosity. So creating a video that peaks the interest of people wouldn’t be a bad idea, would it? It’s just a case of coming up with something that will attract eyes and get people discussing.

In years gone by, companies have launched videos of catching songs, e.g. Dumb Ways To Die courtesy of Metro Trains. They’ll also make something that just confuses people and gets them arguing over stuff!

If you’re not the most tech-savvy or creative, then there are VIDEO PRODUCTION SERVICES that you can get help from. There never really has to be a point to the video – it’s all just to get eyes on the company.

Sponsoring

If you have the funds, then sponsoring things like events and sports teams is a sure-fire way to increase brand recognition. Helping out a particular group or occasion will build your relationship with certain other companies.

In return, you’ll have your logo and work plastered around the place for people to wonder about. Obviously, you will need to build and build if you want to hit all of the significant events, shirts, vehicles, etc. but starting off small would work wonders, too.

Putting Your Brand Everywhere!

Now, this isn’t suggesting that you should graffiti your logo and name wherever you want. You do want people to be overly familiar with your brand, though, so making it visible in a lot of different situations is a way of burning it into people’s minds. Your car, billboards, your place of work – these are all traditional means, but you can be as creative as you like.
