Istanbul-based Dataroid, an artificial intelligence-powered digital analytics and customer engagement platform, has raised $6.6m in a pre-Series A funding round as it looks to expand beyond its home market and deepen its AI-driven product capabilities.

The round was led by the FinAI Venture Capital Fund of Tacirler Asset Management, with participation from the Tacirler Asset Management Future Impact Venture Capital Fund and Endeavor Catalyst, the co-investment arm of the Endeavor entrepreneur network.

Founded by Fatih Isbecer, Elif Parlak and Can Elmas, Dataroid provides analytics software designed to help companies in highly regulated sectors such as banking and financial services understand and improve digital customer journeys. The company said the new capital would be used to support geographic expansion — particularly across Europe, the Middle East and Africa — alongside increased global marketing and continued investment in AI-led product development.

Özge Atalay, co-founder of the FinAI Venture Capital Fund, said Dataroid’s technology had been built with the regulatory and security demands of financial institutions in mind, giving it the potential to scale internationally. “Having already demonstrated strong traction in Turkey and the wider EMEA region, the company is now entering a new phase of international growth,” she said.

Dataroid says its platform currently supports digital experiences for more than 120m end users, largely through partnerships with major Turkish banks. Mr Isbecer said this scale had provided a strong foundation for overseas expansion. “Our priority is to take the value we have created in Turkey into new markets,” he said, adding that the company would focus on strengthening its AI capabilities in response to customer demand.

According to 2025 reports by G2, Dataroid was ranked the leading digital analytics platform in the Middle East and was awarded first place for best customer support in product and customer journey analytics categories, based on user feedback.

The company said it ended 2025 with net revenue retention of 127 per cent and no customer churn. Dataroid previously raised $2m in December 2023 from the private venture capital fund of Koç Group and İşbank’s 100th Year Venture Capital Fund.
